If a Candyland escapee met a Dr. Seuss character in the woods, the result might look something like the Candystick plant. (Likewise if one of Santa’s elves got frisky with an extraterrestrial.) In addition to earning it common monikers such as Sugarstick and Barber’s Pole, its bright red stripes resemble veins or arteries, and as such, this essence can address circulation on all levels. When we talk about circulation and blood flow, we talk about life flow as well. Candystick asks if you are directing essential life force and nourishment to all parts of your body and all areas of your life, and yourself. It asks if you are keeping feelings mobile and expressive, or whether there’s repression and resistance.
Candystick’s botanical name, Allotropa, is derived from the Greek, meaning “other turning” or “different turning.” This essence is also about addressing anger turned inward. One of the first places that can be effected by held anger is the skin, which Candystick’s doctrine of signatures perfectly shows through its round, red stigmas that resemble pimples or a rash. (Use the Candystick essence topically as well as orally; add it to your face and body products.)

As stated above, Candystick can be supportive in treating all manner of concerns relating to blood, veins, arteries, and circulation. Skin inflammation issues can be addressed as well, from acne and rashes to hives, insect bites, and burns. (I personally had immense success applying Candystick essence topically to a bad burn I received from scalding water- I used it multiple times within the first fifteen minutes and not only did the pain diminish, but within an hour all redness and trace of a burn were gone.) Candystick may also be helpful with blood sugar and diabetes, as well as mitigating a sweet tooth!
